Speaking as the parent of a Jukido student and as a student myself I would like to say that this martial arts school isby far the best self defense school you or your children could attend. Not only is the self defense awesome! But the philosophy is one that also teaches self confidence, self respect, and respect for others just to name a few. I believe that the students come out of this class with a sense of well being, a sense of purpose and are better stronger people for it.

I love Jukido Jujitsu because it’s not just about physical techniques. Jukido is a way of life! It involves your mind, body, and spirit. Being a Jukido-ka (Jukido student) means being a better and more disciplined person in all aspects of life. In addition, Jukido is an effective, practical, and traditional martial art that can save your life. It’s also great exercise and it’s FUN!! Jukido has benefited me in more ways than I could possibly begin to list.

The FJJA can offer so much more that what it seems on the surface. I started going to FJJA to spend time with my sons. Now I'm on a new path I train with them. I found my life has changed in many positive ways. I practice living by the 7 codes of Bushido (Politeness, Justice, Courage, Loyalty, Benevolence, Veracity, and Honor) in and out of the dojo and I am honored to be a part of the FJJA family.

My name is Kyle and I’m 11 years old. Jukido has helped me not only to defend myself but also how to be a better more aware person. It has also helped me to stay more focused on the important things at that moment.

Jukido has really changed my life. It has made me way more self confident and makes me feel more ready to defend myself, if I ever attacked, I really love Jukido!

Before the FJJA I was more of a couch potato than anything, little mannered, and I wouldn’t dare to oppose those who were bigger, even if they were wrong. But since Jukido and thanks to Sensei Rego, the other dans (black belts) and Shihan Arel, I have confidence and am obtaining the skill to defend myself and those I love. By following the codes of bushido I have become a better person on the inside and out, so I will continue my training for as long as I live so that one day I may be able to teach others and give them the confidence and skill given to me! So thank you Sensei Rego, I could never do anything that would be enough to repay you! OSSU!!

Studying Jukido has made my life what is today. I am more confident in myself, I am in better physical shape, and I am more mentally focused. Having an attention disorder has always made it hard for me to learn new things, but Sensei Rego's seemingly infinite patience has afforded me the ability to learn how to slowly and steadily overcome it. I recommend Jukido to everyone. There is something to gain in it for every one of every size, age, color, sex, and walk of life. To paraphrase; Nelson Mandela once said that is our light that scares us, not our darkness. Don't be afraid, you can do it. The only thing that can stop you is doubt.

At first I did not want to start Jukido Jujitsu, but my parents insisted I give it a try. When I went into the dojo for the first time I guess I was in the mind set of thinking that this is going to be another fun hobby. But what I got out of it was a way of life. The longer I stay with Jukido the more I grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically making me much more than I thought I could ever be. I could not imagine life without Jukido Jujitsu.

I'm the mother & spouse of 3 dedicated students that attend FJJA. The FJJA has made a positive influence in my life and I haven't attended a class. It has helped to sharpen and reinforce the values that I am proud to say already existed in my family.

What Jukido did for me was help me concentrate better in school and Jukido has also taught me self defense. Another thing Jukido did for me was teach me the seven codes of Bushido (politeness, courage, justice, loyalty, veracity, benevolence, and honor), which a warrior always has to follow. The same seven codes will help me become a better person in life.

Jukido Jujitsu is great and I love it. In Jukido you don’t only learn the realistic approach to self-defense you also gain many qualities that are sure to help you in life. Self-discipline and the ability to become a much better and stronger minded person are just a few of qualities out of thousands. In addition, you gain the ability to defend yourself in ways you probably never thought possible. Those are just a few reasons why the martial art called Jukido Jujitsu is so great.

Being a part of the FJJA has not only helped me physically (learning how to defend myself from different attacks), but also personally. I met my husband through Jukido and from there came our children.

Jukido Jujitsu solidified an astronomic proportion of the foundation of how I live and continue to do so. There are many things to state about Sensei George Rego and the academy he runs in Flagler County, but I will try to keep it fairly brief with my story and with it the facts. If you are looking for a proper review I believe this will more than suffice. First and foremost this is a Self Defense Academy, this is not a sport like some martial arts. To clarify sporting is not a bad thing by any means, but it is to be understood that you will be applying your hard work into the realistic approach of how things will be in the real world.

This five and a half year adventure all began at the age of 12 when my parents had forced me to become more active. Normally I am against this parental force kind of thing, however, I cannot thank them enough to this day for bringing me there. It did not take long for me to find that it was perfect for a good portion of my needs, physically and mentally. I was personally able to watch the dojo grow from a handful of students to a fairly large amount in comparison. Before jumping to conclusions or getting ahead of anything, it is important to note that every student is a dedicated student, this is not some business for money or just to sell out. If you have even just a small interest in martial arts then this is a great place to begin your martial arts journey, if nothing else to eventually find out just how dedicated you are in all aspects.

This is an authentic martial arts training hall and now that I live in Orlando and have been around numerous towns all over the state, I have yet to find another school anywhere near the likes of this school.

Know that the training will be intense at many times and you will be pushed, but you will be trained to be pushed by yourself, where it carries over into your everyday activities. That is one of the many critical aspects that are different about Jukido Jujitsu. Your training does not just end in the dojo, when you are outside the dojo you represent the Jukido Academy. You are expected to be a great student in and out, following the 7 Codes of Bushido (they will be learned upon study in the dojo). Together everything meshes to create this huge foundation of building blocks for a physical and mental piece of harmony to live by.

I departed from the dojo about a year and a half ago to 2 years to take up an extreme focus in school in Orlando UCF Physics program and I still keep in touch with Sensei George Rego frequently, he is a true friend to everyone and a great instructor. I feel I can never thank enough for the members of the dojo and the Sensei that helped me to realize to push myself. If you stuck through to read this, I highly doubt you have lost interest and now perhaps can decide if this is right for you, as a Self Defense Academy. If you decide it is right or just want to give it a chance do not do what I use to and just wait to act, do it now and do not have regrets, do not wait until maybe tomorrow, or the next day, call or e-mail I promise you there will be nothing to defend from by doing that!
